The Russian tennis player started her professional tennis career at the age of 14. She was one of the youngest player to compete in the Fed Cup ever and won it for Russia. She was able to make it to the U.S Open when she was only 15 year old and when she was 16 reached into the semifinals of Wimbledon. Then she had to stop playing professional tennis because of back pain when she was 21 years old.
