Mena Alexandra Suvari, born February 13, 1979 in the USA is an actor, fashion designer and a model. In 1990, shortly following her debut as a model, she began to appear in tv shows such as Boy Meets World. She made her film debut in 1997's dramatic film Nowhere. Her performances as a character in American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated to receive the BAFTA Award - and American Pie that earned her greater attention as she stepped into more prominent roles. Since then she appeared on screen in Loser (2000) with the American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and later played the main character in the comedy Sugar & Spice (2001). The year 2002 saw her appeared in Spun the drama by an independent company and 2004's thriller Trauma. Other appearances on HBO include the drama Six Feet Under. In 2008, Suvari was a part in a series of movies such as Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the adaptation film of The Garden of Eden.
